CoDA Australia

Welcome to CoDA Australia

Co-dependents Anonymous (CoDA) is a worldwide network of groups of men and women, we share the common purpose of learning how to develop and maintain healthy and fulfilling relationships.

We gather together to support and share with each other in a journey of self-discovery – learning to love the self.  Living the program allows each of us to become increasingly honest with ourselves about our personal histories and our own Co-dependent behaviours.

CoDA is an anonymous Twelve Step group, so your privacy is protected.  The CoDA program is based on an adapted version of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.  As such, it is a spiritual not a religious program.  It is a non-profit organisation, there are no fees for membership, each group is fully self supporting by voluntary donations from its members.

If you are new to CoDA you may be wondering "Am I Co-Dependent?"  At CoDA, we offer no definition or diagnostic criterion for Co-dependence.  What we do offer is a list of patterns and characteristics as an aid in self evaluation, which you may read by clicking the link below;
